About us
A Ugandan group, built from the inside
Established in 2020 and headquartered in Kampala, PM Insights SMC Limited operates across nine complementary sectors of Uganda’s everyday economy.
The group was built on a simple premise: that Uganda’s fastest-growing consumer sectors are best served by operators who understand the local market from the inside. From Kampala and Mukono to Jinja and the wider Busoga region, PM Insights combines that local knowledge with modern management practice, disciplined regulatory compliance and long-term capital.
Each business unit operates under its own brand and management team, unified by common ownership, shared standards of service, and a single strategic direction set at group level. Our interests span fintech, media and broadcasting, real estate, hospitality, events, agri-business, commodities, logistics and gaming.
Chairman’s statement
A word from our Chairman
When we founded PM Insights in 2020, we set out to build something deliberately broad — a Ugandan group capable of serving people where they actually live their lives: how they move money, where they live and work, what they eat, what they listen to, and how they spend their leisure time.
That breadth is not diversification for its own sake. Each of our businesses is built on the same conviction: that Ugandan customers deserve services designed around them rather than adapted from somewhere else. It is why our fintech work sits close to the agent networks that serve ordinary users, why our media investment speaks to the Busoga region in its own voice, and why we hold ourselves to full regulatory compliance in every licensed sector we enter.
We are still early in this journey. What we can commit to is the standard by which we intend to be judged — excellence in delivery, integrity in conduct, and a genuine contribution to the communities that make our work possible.

Excellence & innovation
We pursue bespoke, well-executed solutions and continually look for better ways to serve our clients and communities.
Integrity
We operate transparently and responsibly across every sector we enter — particularly financial services and gaming, which carry direct public trust and regulatory responsibility.
People first
Continuous staff training and a nurturing work environment sit at the centre of how we build and sustain service quality.
Community impact
Economic growth and societal development are stated aims of our mission, not by-products of it.
Group structure
Structure & ownership
PM Insights SMC Limited is the parent and promoter of the group’s operating brands. Each subsidiary trades under its own identity and management, while ownership and strategic direction remain unified at group level.
Common ownership. Chairman Paul is the common individual shareholder and director across PM Insights and its operating subsidiaries — including PM Gaming Limited, PM Commodities, PM Farms, PM Real Estate, PM Events and Busoga Royal Radio — linking the group’s interests under unified ownership and leadership.
Corporate & social responsibility
Our commitment to community
Fostering economic growth and societal development sits at the heart of the PM Insights mission. Across the group’s business units — from staff training and mentorship, to community-facing media programming, to agricultural initiatives supporting local food supply — we look for practical ways to create shared value for the communities in which we operate.
In our licensed businesses, that commitment extends to responsible conduct: operating within regulatory frameworks, communicating honestly with customers, and treating public trust as something to be earned continuously rather than assumed.
